About this tool
Pull all the words out of a PDF so you can edit, translate or paste them elsewhere. Works with normal digital PDFs (made from Word, websites, invoices). Scanned PDFs are pictures of text and need OCR, so they will return little or no text.

Is it free? Is there a limit?
Yes, it is 100% free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on files or size. Very large files only depend on your device's memory.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens inside your own browser, so your files never leave your device. That is also why there is no file size or file count limit.
Why is no text found in my PDF?
Your PDF is probably a scan (an image). Scanned pages have no text layer, so text extraction cannot read them.
Does it support Hindi PDFs?
It extracts the Unicode text stored in the PDF. Many Hindi PDFs use proper Unicode and work well; some older ones use special fonts and may show odd characters.
