These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to every page, tool and service on 2ndcode.com/tools ("the Site", "2nd Code", "we", "us"). By opening the Site or using any tool, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

The Site offers free online tools, including PDF and image converters, a web scraper, an AI image metadata generator, a URL runner and a gold & silver rate page. The tools are provided free of charge, for general use, and may be changed, limited, suspended or removed at any time without notice.

3. Your responsibility for content and use

You are solely responsible for making sure that your use of any tool — including scraping a website or calling a URL repeatedly — complies with all applicable laws, the target website's terms of service and robots rules, copyright, and data-protection law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000).

4. Prohibited use

You must not use the Site or any tool to:

break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
collect, scrape or process personal data without a lawful basis, or send spam;
attack, overload, probe or disrupt any website, server or network, including through the URL Runner or Web Scraper (for example, denial-of-service, brute-force or vulnerability scanning);
access content behind logins, paywalls or technical barriers you are not authorised to bypass;
upload or process unlawful, obscene, defamatory, abusive, or harmful material, malware or viruses;
try to hack, reverse-engineer, bypass security of, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
use automated means to overload the Site, or resell the tools as your own service.

We may block access, stop running jobs, delete data and report activity to the authorities if we believe these Terms are being broken.

5. AI-generated results

The AI Image SEO tool uses a third-party AI service (Google Gemini). AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased or similar to other content. You must review all results before use. We do not guarantee that any title, keyword or description is accurate, original, or accepted by any stock agency, marketplace or search engine.

6. Gold & silver rates

Rates shown on the Site are indicative, derived from exchange (MCX) prices, may be delayed or differ from actual market and jeweller prices, and exclude GST and making charges. They are for information only and are not an offer, quotation, or financial, investment or trading advice. Always confirm the rate with your jeweller or broker before any transaction.

7. No warranty

The Site and all tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted, or that files will convert correctly. Keep your own backups of every file.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2nd Code and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage — including loss of data, files, profits, business, goodwill or reputation, or any legal claim by a third party — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, any tool, any result, or any rate shown. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted, and in any case to INR 100 (one hundred rupees), since the service is free.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 2nd Code and its developer from any claim, demand, loss, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) made by any third party or authority because of Your Content, your use of the tools, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

10. Third-party services and links

Some tools rely on third parties (for example Google Gemini, Google Fonts, or the websites you scrape or call). Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only.

11. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, code and logo belong to 2nd Code. You keep all rights in Your Content. You may not copy or republish the Site itself without written permission.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining parts stay in full effect.
